LIC to launch Jeevan Aastha II

In September 2011, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is planning to launch, Jeevan Aastha II. Jeevan Aastha II, a guaranteed return single premium plan with internal rate of return of over 7%.

Earlier in 2008 LIC had launched a single premium product Jeevan Aastha with high guaranteed return though which LIC has managed to collect Rs.14,000 crore of premium.
